I recently did an in home session with the lovely Emma and her husband Rich to truly celebrate the safe arrival of her baby girl. The birth of this little one was particularly poignant after the heartbreaking stillbirth of her brother Arlo last year at 25 weeks, a story Emma shares openly in her Instagram feed along with her courageous journey of healing.
Emma and Rich’s love for their healthy baby shines through in every single image we created and I feel truly touched to have been able to photograph this incredibly emotional time for them. The joy and love is so obvious as they held their new baby girl, marvelling at the miracle they created after such a harrowing ordeal in the past.
The arrival of any new baby is special but Emma’s case, seeing her heart filled with such love and wonderment was something else.
