FOLLOW-UP CALL

1 hour follow up call within one month of your mentoring day to talk about things you have implemented following your mentoring, go over things you may not be sure of or talk about where to go next.

PORTRAIT SESSION

A 25 minute photography session for you where we’ll  create images for your online profile. You’ll have access to the client wardrobe and get some experience of being on the other side of the camera.

WHAT WE’LL COVER

During the Day

1. YOU

Prior to our day together I’m going to ask you to make some notes about your journey, the things you struggle with most and how your photography business fits with your life. The first thing we’ll do is together is identify the areas of your photography skills and processes that stop you creating the successful and fulfilling sessions you want. We’ll talk about the styles of imagery you love and how to achieve it

2. PREPARATION

The success of your sessions will depend largely on preparation. Whilst authentic lifestyle images are all beautifully unique, there is much you can do to prepare both yourself and your clients. During this module I’ll teach you all the things I have learned over the years about forward planning in your sessions so that your clients can be themselves and your images stunning.

3. SHOOTING

This part of the day is where you will spend time shooting alongside me with live models. You’ll learn how to identify and position your subjects in the perfect light and background. We’ll practice prompts to make them feel relaxed and interact with each other and look at the way different perspectives create variety and mood.

4. EDITING

Getting your images how you want them whilst shooting is a large part of your style and can truly define you as an artist. Creating your signature style while keeping your editing time to a minimum will ensure success in your business. We’ll edit the images from our practical session to create an sellable gallery from start to finish.

5. REVIEW

We’ll go through the work in your online portfolio or website and talk about how you can best represent yourself to attract more clients. We can review images, copy, pricing, products, whatever needs the most attention.

6. Q&A

This is your opportunity to ask anything. We can talk through issues you may be facing with upcoming work whether it be client care, workflow, planning a shoot or styling it.

YOUR OWN PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION

This is your chance to experience being on the other side of the camera for some professional images of yourself. It will be fun, lighthearted and you’ll come away with great photographs to use for your online profile.
