Family photography is about taking care to capture part of our family’s history. I know there’s nothing more wonderful in a family home than a beautiful photo gallery showing highlights of your family as they grow and change, it happens so quickly and before you know it your tiny baby is all grown up. Family photography sessions help you capture moments during those years so you can all be in those images together.
My sessions are filled with fun, laughter and games so even those who are not fond of having their photographs taken love them! I will guide you to get the best from the location and light so that you have beautiful images of your portrait session but the focus will be on you and your family doing what you do best, loving each other. Autumn Sessions 2021
Due to the recent good weather which has meant we can complete a lot of scehduled session on time, I am offering very limited additional Autumn sessions this year.
FULL FAMILY SESSION – £650
Packages include a 90 minute session and 50+ digital images. I say 50+ because if I love an image, it’s included in your gallery, no limits. To take place at one of two locations near Cranleigh or Farnham, Surrey. Your session can be reserved with a deposit of £250, the balance is payable after your session. Full Sessions include:

SHORTER FAMILY SESSION – £450
Packages include a 45 minute session and 25 digital images you will have the choice of two time slots. To take place at one of two locations near Cranleigh or Farnham, Surrey. Your session can be reserved with a deposit of £250, the balance is payable after your session.

Please choose from the dates below but keep in mind that we may need to reshedule if rain is forecast. Equally, if we have a spell of amazing sunshine, I may offer you an earlier date at short notice to take advantage of it!
These will be allocated on a first come, first served basis so please choose a second date as a back up.

I usually stop shooting outdoor with families at the end of October each year, but if the weather stays mild I may add a few more sessions in November last minute.

Where do these sessions take place?
I have some favourite locations that I know work really well for families near Farnham and Cranleigh so I will be shooting Autumn sessions at one or the other.
I'm nervous my children won't behave!
Don’t worry about a thing! I have photographed literally hundreds of families and have coaxed even the most reluctant child (and parent for that matter!) out of their shell to have fun. As we play games and move round a lot, children are engaged and are never ‘forced’ to do something they don’t want to. I concentrate on families in various combinations ensuring that everyone gets a turn and everyone has a break when they need it.
How do I prepare for my session?
Apart from talking through your outfits, it’s really important that you arrive on the day as relaxed as possible. Everyone can leave their ‘cheese’ smiles at home because what we want is a family ready to have fun together for a while. Talk to your kids about it being a fun time rather than a time when they ‘must behave’ always works best.
Will you help me with what to wear?
Of course, this is one of the most important elements of your session. I will invite you to send over your outfit ideas by WhatsApp and we’ll fill in any gaps together. Do this as early as possible in case you feel like treating yourself to something new! Send me links to things you’re thinking of buying or even let me know when you’re going shopping and we can do a virtual shopping trip!
I feel very self conscious in front of the camera, will your sessions still work for me?
The majority of my clients have admitted the same which is why you are the best person for my sessions. Without the pressure to look at the camera and with lots of encouragement to have fun and be yourself, you’ll love having your photo taken. Promise.
What about the weather? We’re in England after all...
Most types of weather won’t stop me shooting but if the forecast is consistently not great, we’ll make a call the day before and reschedule, I keep Sundays free for this reason. To get the very best light of the day it’s vital that we shoot just before sunset, the exact times will change as the days shorten through the Autumn.
How long will I have to wait to see my photos?
I’ll have your photos uploaded to your online gallery within two weeks of your session where you’ll be able to download them immediately, if things are really busy and there is a delay, I’ll let you know.
What printed products do you offer?
I love seeing your photos in print and only use the very best print labs for my products. I offer stunning lay flat albums with incredible matte paper and bespoke covers as well as framed prints handmade by my local framer. Do ask for more information, if you’d like something else, I can probably source it for you.
