Family photography is about taking care to capture part of our family’s history. I know there’s nothing more wonderful in a family home than a beautiful photo gallery showing highlights of your family as they grow and change, it happens so quickly and before you know it your tiny baby is all grown up. Professional family photography sessions help you capture moments during those years so you can all be in those images together.
My sessions are filled with fun, laughter and games so even those who are not fond of having their photographs taken love them! I will guide you to get the best from the location and light so that you have beautiful images of your portrait session but the focus will be on you and your family doing what you do best, loving each other. Where do these sessions take place?
I have some favourite locations that I know work really well for families near Farnham and Cranleigh so I will be shooting most Autumn sessions at one or the other. I also have a studio between Guildford and Cranleigh where I have access to private land where I can shoot outdoor family sessions. The studio is also open to clients who wish to see the products I offer first hand.
Do you shoot at other locations?
Absolutely! If you fancy somewhere else, a beach, in the hills, your own land, talk to me, everything’s possible.
What would you class your style of photography as?
Images that make you feel something.
Will you help me with what to wear?
Of course, this is one of the most important elements of your session. I am constantly adding to my client wardrobe, a collection of feminine dresses and skirts that I know will photograph well that you are very welcome to borrow for your session. We’ll also chat about what works for your session taking into consideration the location, season etc. I am available to you via text, email or WhatsApp to look at various options and piece together your outfits.
I feel very self conscious in front of the camera, will your sessions still work for me?
The majority of my clients have admitted the same which is why you are the best person for my sessions. Without the pressure to look at the camera and with lots of encouragement to have fun and be yourself, you’ll love having your photo taken. Promise.
What about the weather? We’re in England after all...
Most types of weather won’t stop me shooting but if the forecast is consistently not great, we’ll make a call the day before and reschedule, I keep Sundays free for this reason. To get the very best light of the day it’s vital that we shoot either at sunrise or sunset, the exact times will change as the days shorten through the Autumn.
How long will I have to wait to see my photos?
I’ll have your photos uploaded to your online gallery within two weeks of your session where you’ll be able to download them immediately.
What printed products do you offer?
I love seeing your photos in print and only use the very best print labs for my products. I offer stunning lay flat albums with incredible matte paper and bespoke covers as well as framed prints handmade by my local framer. I also offer a scrumptious vintage style solid wood print box to keep your memories safe. Do ask for more information, if you’d like something else, I can probably source it for you.
How long do sessions last?
Family sessions are 90 minutes, sometime a little less with very young children or in colder weather.

FAMILY SESSION – £550
Packages include a 90 minute session and 50+ digital images. Surrey locations and sessions at the outdoor/indoor studio. This offer may include maternity sessions but excludes newborns. Your session can be reserved with a deposit of £250, the balance is payable after your session.
