Family photography is about taking care to capture part of our family’s history. I know there’s nothing more wonderful in a family home than a beautiful photo gallery showing highlights of your family as they grow and change, it happens so quickly and before you know it your tiny baby is all grown up. Professional family photography sessions help you capture moments during those years so you can all be in those images together.
My sessions are so relaxed even those who are not fond of having their photographs taken love them! I will guide you to get the best from the location and light so that you have beautiful images of your session but the focus will be on you and your family doing what you do best, loving each other.
I want you to think of your time with me as a family adventure rather than a photo shoot, the focus is on the experience and letting yourself go a little from the everyday pressures of life.

QuestionS
Do you shoot outdoors all year round?
No is the simple answer. My family sessions start around late March and end late October. All sessions are booked according to the sunset times, we generally start around 2 hours before sunset, worth keeping in mind to suit the ages of your children.
Who chooses the location for our shoot?
I am open to ideas! There are some specific ingredients needed to give beautiful backdrops to your session so we’ll talk during our initial chat about wht your family loves to do and I’ll start researching ideas. Beaches, mountains, lakes, let’s go wild and get away from everyone so you can feel free.
I've seen that you do family films, is that included?
Family films are something I am new to and still learning. There is no exrta chrge for these at the moment and we can talk about how to include this in your session.
Will you help me with what to wear?
Of course, this is one of the most important elements of your session. As soon as you’re booked we’ll start chatting about what works for your session taking into consideration the location, season etc. I am available to you via WhatsApp to look at various options and piece together your outfits.
I feel very self conscious in front of the camera, will your sessions still work for me?
Absolutely. The majority of my clients have admitted the same which is why you are the best person for my sessions. Without the pressure to look at the camera and with lots of encouragement to have fun and be yourself, you’ll love having your photo taken. Promise.
What about the weather? We’re in England after all...
Most types of weather won’t stop me shooting but if the forecast is consistently not great, if we can reschedule, we will. I love shooting families that love the great outdoors and wild weather can make for incredible, emotive photographs.
How long will I have to wait to see my photos?
I’ll have your photos uploaded to your online gallery within two weeks of your session. During busy season this may take a little longer but I will let you know if your gallery is delayed.
What printed products do you offer?
I love seeing your photos in print and only use the very best print labs for my products. I offer stunning lay flat albums with incredible matte paper and bespoke covers as well as prints and framed prints.
How long do sessions last?
That really depends on where we’re shooting and how the children are doing. Sessions are usually around two hours, for very young children it might be a little less. If everyone is having a great time and the evening is beautiful, we’ll keep shooting until it get’s too dark!
Pricing
Family SESSIONS – £750
I like to keep things easy and simple when it comes to pricing as everyone is different. All my sessions are approximately 2 hours and the session price includes all the images I edit from the shoot which will be at least 50 (usually a lot more). If I love it and it makes me feel something, it goes in the gallery.

A deposit of £250 is needed to secure your shoot, the rest can be paid in regular instalments or in one go. For more detailed information about my sessions and prices of albums, prints and frames, please get in touch.
