THE EXPERIENCE

NewboRn

filled with love

Early DayS

The baby photos from your newborn portrait photography session will be amongst the most treasured of your possessions. Those first few weeks with your new baby are so special but fly by in a whirlwind as you all adjust which is what makes it so important to capture the tiny details before your baby changes and the memory of how little they are fades.

My newborn photography sessions are relaxed and gentle. With my own personal experience with newborns and vast experience of photographing hundreds of babies over the last twelve years, I will guide you and your baby through the whole process from booking to receiving your perfect newborn’s photos. More examples of images from newborn sessions can be found on my portfolio page.

YOUR

QuestionS

How long do sessions last?

Newborn sessions last for 2 hours, studio sessions may have professional hair and make up added.

When is the best time for a newborn photography session?

In my experience newborn sessions work best at around a week old before they change and grow.  I love to photograph babies at any age but these sessions are for new babies up to three weeks old.

What would you class your style of photography as?

Images that make you feel something.

What is your studio like?

My studio is a little south of Guildford in Surrey and is available to shoot newborns, and portraits.  It is styled with unique vintage furnishings to suit the session, a calm and safe space to bring your newborn or relax and enjoy your creative portrait session.  This is also where I have an outdoor studio, private land where I shoot outdoor family and couples sessions and if the weather permits, some newborn.  The studio is also open to clients who wish to see the products I offer first hand.

I’ve only just found you and my baby has already arrived, can I still book?

Newborn sessions are best done within the first three weeks to really capture the early details before they change. If I have a space for a last minute newborn session, I will pull out all the stops for you.

Will you help me with what to wear?

Of course, this is one of the most important elements of your session. I am constantly adding to my client wardrobe, a collection of feminine dresses and skirts that I know will photograph well that you are very welcome to borrow for your session. We’ll also chat about what works for your session taking into consideration the location, season etc. I am available to you via text, email or WhatsApp to look at various options and piece together your outfits.

I feel very self conscious in front of the camera, will your sessions still work for me?
Absolutely. The majority of my clients have admitted the same which is why you are the best person for my sessions. Without the pressure to look at the camera and with lots of encouragement to have fun and be yourself, you’ll love having your photo taken. Promise.
How long will I have to wait to see my photos?
I’ll have your photos uploaded to your online gallery within two weeks of your session. If you have prepaid your package, you’ll be able to download them immediately.
What printed products do you offer?

I love seeing your photos in print and only use the very best print labs for my products. I offer stunning lay flat albums with incredible matte paper and bespoke covers as well as framed prints handmade by my local framer. I also offer a scrumptious vintage style solid wood print box to keep your memories safe. Do ask for more information, if you’d like something else, I can probably source it for you.

CORONAVIRUS UPDATE

The Studio is now closed in accordance with the current measures to help stop the spread of Covid-19.

All booked sessions will be rescheduled as soon as possible so if you are currently expecting or have recently had a baby, please still get in touch. There are things to plan and prepare ahead of any session and we can still chat about what to expect, what to wear and how to prepare.

I will be working doubly hard to ensure new babies are photographed as early as possible as soon as the restrictions have been lifted.  In the meantime, please accept my gift to all new parents and download my free guide below.

Stay safe x
